1. 목적

1) 외부 부식(Corrosion) 대비 

2) 부식의 완화(Mitigation)

3) Metal 표면에 충분히 부착하여 공극(Voids)에서 부터 자유로워 진다. → 내부 습기 완화

4) Base 재질의 무름(Ductile)에 의한 Crack 방어 

5) 취급과정 혹은 흙에 의한 쓸림 보호

6) 충격 완화

4. 시공

가장 일반적인 작업 순서 

Surface Preparation (→ Heating) 

→ Epoxy (Primer)

→ Modified PP/PE Powder (Adhesive)

→ Top Coat

→ Backfilling 전 Visual 혹은 NDE 검사 실시 

→ 결함 발견 시 보수 후 재시험

1) Holiday Detector 를 활용한 Continuity Testing 

2) 두께 측적기를 확욜해 두께 확인
